Welcome to Quarry Hill Orchards! We’re a family-owned fruit farm near the shores of Lake Erie in northeastern Ohio. We planted our first trees in 1929, and the Gammie family has been tending, picking, and selling their delicious apples for three generations.
We believe the best fruit is fresh, local, grown with love, and shared with friends. The heart of Quarry Hill is our bustling market barn, where you can sip warm cider, meet our family, neighbors, and friendly dogs, and try delicious fruit and farm-made goods from our community.
We grow, pick, pack, and ship our apples all by ourselves — no imports, no off-site storage, and no third parties. It all happens right here at Quarry Hill. Come for a tractor-pulled wagon ride through our orchards, or walk the rows yourself, picking your own fruit from our three dozen different varieties of trees.
We’re proud to be a part of Ohio’s rich history, from the Firelands’ agricultural past to the quarries that gave our farm its name. Our 130 acres of fruit trees stretch from the hills of Berlin Heights to the edge of Edison Woods, a part of the Erie Metroparks. Wander our orchards on a pick-your-own adventure, and explore the gorgeous woodland scenery of the Metroparks, all in one visit to Quarry Hill.
