Personal Information and Other Data We Collect

FarmersWeb collects information that Users voluntarily provide to us, including, without limitation, your name, contact details, and billing information ("Personal Information"). If you choose to provide us with information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information on our servers. When you visit our Site, we send one or more cookies (a small file containing a string of characters) to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. Cookies make it easier for you to log on to and use the Site during future visits. You can configure your browser to accept all cookies, reject all cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. (Each browser is different, so check the "Help" menu of your browser to learn how to change your cookie preferences.) We also make use of "web beacons" -- small strings of code that provide a graphic image that surveys visitors' internet activity. Through the use of cookies and web beacons, FarmersWeb automatically records on server logs certain types of information whenever a User interacts with the Website. We can view a variety of reports about how visitors interact with our Website so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. Google uses cookies, and IP addresses, and it reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. In the event a visitor to the Website voluntarily submits contact information to Google, Google may then associate such information with the applicable IP address to enable us to see that visitor's specific interactions with our Website. We may also, in the future but do not currently now, use third-party advertising companies to target and show you advertisements when you visit the Website. These third-party advertisers may use web beacons and may send "cookies" to your computer or other device to gather information about your preferences to provide you with advertising that is more likely to relate to your interests. In the event we begin to use third-party advertising companies, that information will be provided on updated versions of this Policy.

Do Not Track Signals

Certain web browsers provide users with an option by which you may have your browser send a "Do Not Track" signal to websites that you are visiting, advising the recipient websites that you do not want to have your online activity tracked. However, the way browsers communicate such "Do Not Track" signals is not yet uniform and, accordingly, our Website does not take any action in response to such signals. In the event a final standard is developed and accepted, we may reassess how we should respond to such signals.
